An Alabama Boating Course Certificate is required by persons at least 12 years old who operate a motorized boat in Alabama.
This certificate is necessary to obtain a boating license in Alabama.
Nobody under 12 years may operate any motorized vessel (sea-doo, waverunner, etc.) on Alabama’s waterways.
