Arkansas boater education requirements
A boater education card is required by anyone born after Dec. 31, 1985, and of legal age to operate a motorboat or sailboat in Arkansas.
Additionally, many insurance agencies offer a boat insurance discount for boaters who have taken a boating safety course.

Arkansas does not currently require a boating license.
