Florida boater education
Florida currently requires a boater education card from anyone born after Dec. 31, 1987 who operates a motorized boat or personal watercraft of 10 hp or more in Florida state waters.
Additionally, many insurance agencies offer a boat insurance discount for all boaters who have taken a boating safety course.
Florida boating license
Florida does not currently require a boating license.
