Maryland boater education
Maryland currently requires a boater education card from anyone born on or after July 1, 1972 who operates a boat or personal watercraft in Maryland.
Additionally, many insurance agencies offer a boat insurance discount for all boaters who have taken a boating safety course.
Maryland boating license
Maryland does not currently require a boating license.
