Oklahoma boater education information
Oklahoma currently requires a boater education card from all persons 12 to 15 years old who operate a boat or personal watercraft over 10 hp or a sailboat 16 feet or longer in Oklahoma. Nobody under the age of 12 can operate a boat in Oklahoma.
Additionally, many insurance agencies offer a boat insurance discount for all boaters who have taken a boating safety course.
