Wisconsin boater education information
Wisconsin currently requires a boater education card from anyone at least 16 years old and born after Dec. 31, 1988 who operates a motorboat or personal watercraft in Wisconsin.
Additionally, many insurance agencies offer a boat insurance discount for all boaters who have taken a boating safety course.
