Rhode Island boater education information
Rhode Island currently requires a boater education card from all personal watercraft operators and anyone born after Dec. 31, 1985, who operates a motorized vessel over 10 hp in Rhode Island.
Additionally, many insurance agencies offer a boat insurance discount for all boaters who have taken a boating safety course.
