Washington boater education information
Washington currently requires a boater education card from anyone born after Dec. 31, 1954, who operates a personal watercraft or boat of 15 hp or more in Washington.
Additionally, many insurance agencies offer a boat insurance discount for all boaters who have taken a boating safety course.
